Some facts about the College management and administration:
In 2006, St Raphael's, which had been an All-Women's autonomous College for 40 years, joined with St Paul's, previously an all-male College but now a co-educational College and in existence for 40 years. In 2008, the name of the College was changed to The Catholic College of St Raphael and St Paul. In 2010, with the opening of the new Wing, there will be 300 students residing within the various Wings of the College.
The College Council is at the apex of the governance of the College and consists of 12 members who meet regularly throughout the year.
The College Principal is Mr Tom Tarttelin, who was, previous to the amalgamation with St Raphael's, Principal and Head of College, St Paul's.
In July 2007, Tom was made Principal of the new entity, renamed The Catholic College of St Raphael and St Paul. Tom has lived on campus in residence in close proximity to St Paul's for the past nine years.
A new Assistant Principal will be appointed shortly and live in residence on College at St Raphael's. Together, the Principal and Assistant Principal are responsible for the day-to-day management and operation of the College.
All fees, accounts, reception and administrative duties are undertaken by the Office Administrator, Mrs Kerri Wells, and the Administrative Assistant, Ms Gina Lamari, who are available in the main office on weekdays from 8.30am - 4.30pm.
Each Wing of the College has a number of Resident Assistants residing in College throughout the semesters, and, together with the Residential Life Supervisors, they are responsible for assisting the Principal and Assistant Principal with the management and tasks associated with daily life in a University Residential facility. The names and contact numbers of each of these personnel are included in the College Handbook.
