St Paul's has a well equipped computer room with Internet
and e-mail access. The computer room is accessible to students 24 hours
per day. The college has its own Student Information Technology Officer
who is available to provide advice and assistance for your IT needs.
They will also assist with problems if you have your own computer in
your room. |

At St Paul's we are conscious of our Catholic heritage
and have our own College Chapel. It is open all day, every day and
regular church services are held. However, if you are a different faith,
we welcome you and respect your convictions, and encourage your participation
within the college community. |
|
All meals are served buffet style in the
college dining room. Three meals a day are provided seven days a week.
On Sundays we have a combined breakfast and lunch (brunch) as well as
dinner. The college catering staff are noted for their food and offer
a varying menu. There are choices of hot dishes and a salad bar daily.
Vegetarian diets are catered for and it may also be possible to negotiate
for other special diets. When required you can arrange for cut lunches
and early or late meals to fit around your study commitments. |
|
There are college tutorials in selected
first year subjects at no extra cost. This is a part of St Paul's commitment
to further your efforts to succeed in your university education. If
you have any difficulty with a subject, residential advisors and more
senior students in the college are always on hand to help with any problems.
At St Paul's you need never experience academic isolation. A review
to support your progress may be conducted with the college Principal.
As a resident you are encouraged to perform to the best of your potential. |

The St Paul's Student Association plays
a role in building the college into a community. There is a Senior Common
Room for residents. The Student Association has a representative on
the St Paul's College Council. The student group takes an active part
in the organisation of social and sporting activities. A highlight of
inter-college sports is the keenly contested Fisher Shield Competition.
As a resident you can participate in many sporting codes including football,
volleyball, netball, soccer, basketball and swimming. |
